Changes

You may have noticed by now that we are going through some changes. I think these changes will definitely help us overall. Here are some of our plans for the future:

1.) We are restructuring the faction a little. While we will have captains in the future, we have decided to dissolve that position for now. Instead we have created a staff to help keep things running around here. Captains will be decided once we are in game. In the Matrix, we should be able to tell who is standing up as a natural leader and who has more important things to do.

2.) We are making things a little more flexible with ship placement. If you find yourself playing with a different group than the people you are in a ship with, you can request to change to that ship. Our plan is that the group you play with regularly will develop into our Hovercrafts and Captains.

3.) The recruitment challenge is changing. Many of you felt it needed a change, and I agree. I now have several people working with me to create the best challenge ever! Also, new recruits will be required to go through an interview process on Teamspeak.

4.) We are in the process of purging inactive members. Those who are deemed still active will probably be required to check in on Teamspeak. If someone has issues with Teamspeak or a microphone, they will be asked to leave the faction. We've gotta be able to communicate with you if you want to be a part of us.


There are other changes happening as well, some which are noticeable...others which are not. I think we're moving in the right direction. If you have any questions, feel free to ask one of our staff. We're here to help and could use all the input you can provide!

Sounds good.  It seems like everytime someone talks about inactive members I start to feel guilty, and rightfully so.  I popped into Teamspeak the other night, I finally got a new mic (if anyone remembers from a while back my previous mic messed up frequently).

It's nice to see that you guys are not affraid to change and improve things :-)

Keep up the good work guys.

I can't wait to see the new test.  I hope I can get through it.  What will I say to new recruits if I can't ?
