Yup yup.... the NDA is more powerful than you know.  Saying anything here or anywhere on the internet where people could see is like telling WB or lith themselves.  News spreads so easily. -That's the point. So, no, noone in FA would be allowed to say so. Moderators would detete the topic so that the person wouldn't lose their beta spot.

We're all friends, but breaking the law is going a bit far.

As a positive gaming community, we encourage proper Beta testing. This includes abiding by the NDA. Any FA members who may be in Beta are not allowed to tell others that they are in. There are ways of determining if certain people are in, but out of respect for the secrecy of Beta, I won't mention what those ways are ;-)

I *obviously* have beta, and I'm playing it right now. In fact, I just took down the flagpole and chopped down the bridge The Archetect was standing on, sending him into the lava. Unfortunatly, I then talked to Agent Smith, and he thanked me for rescuing him and all, but he said my Trinity was in another castle.

This is a pretty strict NDA if you can't even reveal that you're in it.  Of all the games my friends and I have beta tested i've never heard of such a clause.  It just goes to show how powerful the matrix really is :O

Well, in all seriousness.

a) I think its unlikely that people in a clan (especially FA) will be pciked. Theres too much to lose from leaks into that clan (this means devs would have to check user status on line - perhaps just the sig). I wouldn't say its impossible for a clan member to get into beta, of course.

b) With the lovely mods such as Eris hanging about, I would suggest that is anyone IS in beta should keep quiet (hey is that the real reason Eris is here !! )

I'll be completely honest about it, since I got the game I've been waiting on for four years I'm not that concerned with getting into beta. Still, the fact remains that thier are a lot of people who would love to get into beta. I guess for those who aren't in beta, like us, we'll just have to wait for it to be released.
