Counter-productive. Your clothing will hold protective code, etc. Having a uniform strips you of said protection. Sorry, Lothori, I think that's a bad idea, but not only for that reason. I love fighting dirty. Stay in civilian clothing and you can run a guerilla war. Ambushes and such. Those are the two main reasons I'm against temporary uniforms. The latter is one of the reasons I'm against uniforms in general.

It would be good if they introduced a /showtattoo emote then you could ask that person to proove they are with the FA.

Just thought of another problem. There is no system where you can upload special tattoo's,badges, or anything. What would be stopping non-fa from just copying our uniforms?

Probably the fact that they won't have the words "Furious Angels" above their heads.

But it seems that not everyone would wear them, but if people were worried about us sticking out, then why not just wear them at a faction war? People will already know who we are, and if everyone was wearing the same clothes then it would make us look a lot more intimidating, that is if were not wearing pink.

Oh and TenBit spys have to ability to look like NPCs anyway and can then change back their clothes to what they were wearing before.

Dude, the only color uniform I would wear is pink. Fuck black or green. go pink!

I like Aaura's idea.

We should have some kind of  "secret handshake" for FAs only.  Something that could be used to confirm that someone is a FA.  Something like a word, a number, a symbol, whatever.

I'm sure that won't be needed. We will probably have a tag or some info window to read what faction you are in, if perhaps only visible to faction members.

Roleplay purposes, bud. ;) I think the best way to question someone's identity would be have a tattoo hidden somewhere. When trying to figure it out, you lead them to a locked building with a group of Angels. Form a circle armed around the individual. Say something cryptic involving stripping clothing (Bare thy soul or summat). Check for the tattoo. Not there? That's why you're armed in a locked building =)

Interesting idea but I think that might be too much hassle, it would surely be simpler to have a phrase something, like, I like my eggs boiled. Looks completely innocent to others but it would have a different meaning to us.

Phrases are good.

I just watched the Dev interview on Gamespot. Tattoos WILL be available, however you will also be able to change them! So, permanent angel tattoos are a no go. We can stell grab a tattoo, though. Maybe an angel and one other that's changed on a weekly basis =D

Interchangable tattoos huh?

I reckon changing tattoos every week would be too much hassle...

I think the best idea is to have a 'secret phrase' and then a uniform of some sort to wear o meetings/battles etc.

If you could have small pieces of clothing like a ring or a wristband or somthing, I think it'd be cool if we all had the same one, and keep it a secret of course.

None of this could be kept secret. Some people do get kicked, and some of those people can get ticked off alot by being kicked. There are very good chances they'd be like hey look I was in the Furious Angels and every member was given this special item to wear so they could identify eachother.

When the game comes out, we should just seewhat clothing they got, and have a few members just fiddle with things and see if they can put something together that looks good and is approved by tbone. Then if some clothing does get approved, we can make it an official FA uniform and optional to wear.If you want one, ask for one, but don't ask if you never will wear it.

I totally agree with this statement. But the cool factor is too great to not do as Lothori suggested and have a uniform for Brawling. i.e. The drooges Uniforms from Clockwork Orange. Imagine 20 of us walking down the street to Brawl all dressed like them....
