-Continued building upwards on the base. Got to the fifth floor windows. 1st-3rd will be storage. 4th story will be private quarters. As soon as I finish the exterior, I'll start working on the interior.
-Ran into External and chatted with him for a bit. He's with a group that has a base east of Wasteland East. I added it to our map and told him we'd try not to raid it. He also gave me their TS (ts3.tinymc.net) and a list of his group: thecrafter, Shadow, xsnipes, Hippoatron, Hawkjanitor, and Kool. So these guys should be friendly for the most part.
-Couple of our guys got killed by Sage and Mediks. Kitty also got some kills. We need to start GETTING kills instead of giving...

I know the metal grind is boring, but the quicker we finish it, the quicker we can start churning out gear and getting more involved in PvP. Better to secure the base now and make enemies later.

PSA:

When crafting, you don't have to click your mouse to death to build big number.
SHIFT + Click = Increase craft amount by 10
CTRL + Click = Increate craft amount to max craftable.

-Base was raided by Sage, Mediks, Kitty, wilzer, and I think Koolkalier. They cleared the entire first floor, taking just about everything and worked their way through the second and third. I did manage to take our C4, explosives, low grade fuel, and some other stuff to the roof where I dropped them down to Erathaol waiting below! Once they realized they were just wasting C4, they rolled out. Erathaol and I stayed up late and waited until they left and then came in with our own C4 and took the place back over. I'm currently placing doors back down (our triple doors are back). If we want to keep the base, we'll want to focus on placing more doors and moving  our stuff to at least the second floor.

How many C4 do you estimate they used?

25-30 at least. They spent 8-10 just on the front because we kept placing doors that they had to blow again to get in and out of. But at least 15 of that was probably built using OUR animal fat and sulfur.
