World PvP Event: FA vs ACo - Prisoner Extraction

The Gree Enclave has requested our assistance in capturing a person of high importance to the war effort against the Dread Masters.

Supreme Chancellor Saresh recommended you by name and insists victory over the Empire will depend on our alliance with the Gree.

Therefore I am sending you to capture this individual.

Current SIS reports place this individual in the most southeastern compound(20,-888) in Outlaw's Den on Tatooine.

After securing the prisoner you will proceed to the extraction point(-336,-849).

I will await your swift return.

Due to Colonel Jadick's horrible excuse for translating our Gree representative's request we are behind the Republic.

The Republic has already sent in a surgical strike team to capture a person vital to the war effort against the Dread Masters.

We must not allow this person to remain in Republic custody. We need to seize him at all costs without killing this individual.

There is one upside to this delay. We are aware of the extraction point they are using by our contact.

You will retrieve this prisoner or don't come back.

This is a PvP event between Alpha Company and Furious Angels taking place in Outlaws Den on Tatooine. There will be 2 teams consisting of their respective guild. Kokuei will observe and RP event with designated Mission Commanders as Republic Command.


Timeline:

The event will consist of 2 rounds having 2 phases each. For the defending(Republic) team there will be a defend phase and a extraction phase. The defend phase will be 20 minutes before you go into extraction phase. You will then have 40 minutes in which time you have to extract the prisoner or be overrun. At the end of Round 1 there will be 15 minutes for an After Action Review and redeployment for Round 2 where we switch roles. After the end of Round 2 there will be a Joint After Action Review by both guilds. Alpha Company will be defending in Round 1.
So a max time line would look like this.

Ground Rules:

Attacking Team - You will start the event at the Outpost Salara Speeder Pavilion(128.-1550).

Defending Team - You will start by defending the compound(20,-888) for 20 minutes(must keep prisoner in building).

There will be small RP between Mission Commander and Republic Command. Resurrection rules - Battle Rez/Out of Combat Rez is okay. Medical Center/Clone Rez is not. Successful Extraction is reaching extraction point(-194,-1495) within 1 hour of start of round. Successful extraction will be small role-played.

Prisoner - They are sedated and can't doing anything but walk. They will stick to their handler and move in their direction only.

I have the details written now. Time is open for us to decide. Sorry it took so long rewriting the details over and over so it looked good. It took awhile.

How about you post the details so we all can be in the loop and decide whether we are going to participate or not.... I mean it seems like to me you are representing yourself to them as a guild or staff member who can make these type of deals and decisions.  I encourage you to be open and available to other guilds for stuff like this, but right now it sounds like you are trying to set something up and are keeping some key people meaning FA and the staff out of the loop

Kokuei, I would rather you not be in the observation role as Republic Command. Instead, I would rather a Master or someone a little more familiar with the way we conduct our public appearance take the position, with you following suite as support.

Arighty folks, we need sixteen people to make this happen, and it sounds like we'll have eight crunchy troopers volunteering to take the role of 'being shot in the face'. Where's my other seven?

Pretty much all I would be doing is watching from stealth to see how it transpires for future events.

I figured rather then just say "Start",  "You can extract now", and "Extraction successful". I was going to give a 1 liner which would be the same to both defending teams.

But if either side doesn't want that. I can just observe.

I would like to find a time soon so we can set this up. I feel like this will be a very fun time. Permitting no outside interference.

I spoke with Rux the other day. They're open pretty much any night. I'm thinking either a Friday evening/night or a Saturday late afternoon/evening. As such, I'm going to put up a few events on the raid calendar.
