It seems like the world is back to what it was pre 1.2. This means:

-The old fleet is back - with the crystal vendor
-No Guild Bank
-No Black Hole
-Lith and I are checking Hoth and False Emperor now

Items from 1.2 seem to be intact.
Legacy is still present.



EDIT: Hoth box is back in. False Emperor boxes are back in. If your reading this and can get in to grind credits, do it before they figure out their mistake.

Servers are down. Lith made about 120k in FE in about half an hour, and I made a bit over 100k at Hoth in the same time.
I'm betting these wont be back in a few minutes.

UPDATE: 10:53AM CDT

During last night's maintenance, some areas of the game were reverted to pre-Game Update 1.2 status. Some areas were 'missing' and characters that were in those areas would be unavailable. We took the live servers offline at approx 9:30AM CDT (Austin time).

Our server and deployment teams are now working to rebuild assets for the live servers, but this is unfortunately not a quick process. We currently estimate that our downtime could be up to eight hours, but that time may be extended.

We are expecting the servers to be available again at 6:00PM CDT (April 14th, 12:00AM BST, 1:00AM CEST, 9:00AM AEST). We'll update you with information in this thread when we have it.

We sincerely apologize for the unexpected downtime today. We'll update you with more details later.

Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this issue.

I had a few posts about it on the forum, but this is what you get when you hire new testers on contract for shitty pay.
Most game testers are in the 30k-40k range, and don't know shit about software testing methodologies. Usually it's a foot int he door in a gaming company as they push for a dev job.

It pisses me off because I actually do know testing concepts and many companies out there deal with this shit with patches instead of investing in a true QA team. I'm lucky in a job that pays very well, but I bust my ass off for my $$ and if I were even a peon tester at BW this debacle wouldn't have happened. In my company anytime we get a codebase ready for release we push it through several test environments (my specialty); the final one being an imp environment. The ONLY purpose of this is to push code out to assure the imp processes correctly, regression test basic functionality to assure the imp process didn't break anything that already existed, assure new functionality is there and working, and then we do a backout to be sure that IF something goes wrong in prod, we have an easy way to revert our changes. We can literally do a revert in a matter of minutes. I understand that backout process with BW is FAR more involved, but the testing principles SHOULD be the same.

I considered applying for them, but considering it's contract, probably less than half what I make now, and they don't offer relo, I don't think I even want to touch the thought...
