I may be a little late tonight, but I'll keep Tbone up to date. I have a lovely dinner about an hour away where I get to get all dressed up in a nice suit that I got for graduation. My mom is on the board for a local chapter of a major 501(c)3, and it's the yearly dinner tonight. It's a pretty cool event, and the company my mom works for also sponsors it.

In any case, I'll do my best to duck out in time to get here for raid. If I'm held up a little, you guys will be the first to know.

So I can reverse engineer campaign bracers and belts for a 20% chance of getting those schematics. As it stands now, my Rakata+augment is slightly better DPS-wise, so I went ahead and RE'd. I did not get the schematic

bad luck old chap. Dag/ Ana (or another maths genius) please explain to me how something with a 20% chance is not the same as a one in five chance, or is it?

its not the same as they are separate events.  for instance if you toss a coin 5 times every toss your % chance of flipping a head is 50% the amount of times you flip the coin does not effect the end result but over time the trend of flipping a head should trend towards 50%.  A true 1 in 5 chance would be to have a bag of 5 balls with 1 red and 4 white balls every time you select from the bag the ball is removed from the next selection. In this scenario the more picks you take the better the chance of picking the red on the next pick until you get to just having 1 ball in the bag which must be the red ball which at worst will be pick number 5. hope this makes things clearer
