That's how raiding is done.

But isn't half the fun of raiding figuring out HOW to beat the boss?

I don't agree with that, the fun in raiding is taking down the instances not wiping trying to figure it out. If you really want that thrill, you should be on the PTR when a new patch is being tested.

So we're going to try Explosive Conflict tonight. Apparently we need at least two ranged DPS to do it. Aculeus, that means we had to put you on alternate to make room for another ranged.

Is there a better time to be doing the raid? I know part of the reason we're doing it this way is due to PvP, but with ranked warzones delayed, we can still give priority to raiding as long as we have time for PvP as well.

The reason I ask is because Broin said he can no longer do the 7:00 time. I usually can't do it either. And we also lost a few people from our late night raid.

I was thinking maybe 9:15 FA time? I think I can make that time most nights. Hopefully Broin could too. And maybe we could get enough of the late night crowd back to do 16 man. I know that takes us to midnight, but I'm afraid of not having enough people at 7. How many people would not be able to do 9:15?

We had a discussion about the raid time tonight, and this next week we're going to try for 9:00 FA time. We were starting to lose members to such an early time, so we're shooting for a time when the maximum number of people will be available! If you were a part of the late night group before, you might want to check and see if this time works for you!

I picked up a bar shift for Tuesday night. I also have one Wednesday night. If the place is dead I can make it. If people stick around, I'll either be late or not make it. Thursday I should be good to go. Hopefully I can make all three nights...

Tanks: Mharz and Lith
Healers: Ana and Adam
Ranged DPS: Tecknik and Broin
Melee DPS: Tbone and Jeyk

Broin verbally told me he'd be here (I think he said he'd be back 30 minutes before), but I think he forgot to sign up.

Balance be ready to go in for Broin as ranged if he can't make it. If I get stuck at the bar, Mkoll be ready to sub in for me, though I think that would mean running a different raid.

I'd like to try hard mode EC, but I know Adam hasn't done it before and I don't think Jeyk has done the first boss.

If you didn't do so, upload your combat log from last night's raid! You can delete everything from 1:03 (est) onward if you forgot to cut off your log.

We should be good tonight to attempt Hard Mode. I believe Broin will be there, but I haven't confirmed it, so if another ranged DPS could be on stand by it would be appreciated!

I'm trying to give seniority to our long time, steady raiders, especially for progressive content, but please keep signing up as we constantly have people out (I'm out Wed and Anamodiel is out Thurs) and consistently signing up lets us know that you have the dedication to join the permanent roster.

I'm glad we're increasing our raiding numbers and hopefully we can get everyone in there at some time or another!

Also as a reminder, since the calendar doesn't have increments of 15, the raid starts forming at 9 but a few people can't make it until closer to 9:15, so that's when the raid should officially try to start!

Bar to celebrate being done with exams or raid tonight? Decisions, decisions. I'll keep tbone updated on my whereabouts. If I end up going to the bar early, I can probably be on at 10, albeit coming down from my drunken stupor. It won't be a repeat of two weeks ago where I started at the bar and continued drinking while raiding... I don't remember some of the fights. Hahahahah.
