Ranked PvP Teams

Also, it's absolutely necessary even for a healer to have PVP gear just like everyone else.

I'm not even specced full healer and I get focused down quickly as soon as my green shit hits a teammate. Without expertise I'd die like I'm wearing nothing at all. I highly suggest working towards at least Champion gear if you plan to PVP, even as a healer.

The jump between Centurion and Champion was highly noticable for me. I've yet to reach battlemaster, but I suspect (looking at the stats) that it will be even more of a jump in performance. Currently this is because I can wear more Rakatta with battlemaster gear than I can Champion. In 1.2 it will likely be simply because Battlemaster gear has more expertise.

Anyway... everyone has already said most of this before. Just don't think you're getting away easy because you want to heal in a WZ. YOU NEED EXPERTISE TOO! It's all about survivability and not just how effectively you can heal. If you're dead, you can't heal people. You may not see a major difference in healing, but you'll damn sure see a difference in how long you last.

While I have a whole lot of experience playing with the folks in libertas and veritas groups, I think only jeyk in our group has been in a ton of WZs with me from our group. This means we're going to be very deficient until we get together and learn eachothers ways.

I took abysmally slow making 50, so I haven't PvPed with Fuse since Beta.    Really, I haven't played with ANY in Team Emeritus, but as someone who is most likely the weak link as far as experience playing with the group and gear, I can assure you that I will NOT be dead weight come 1.2.

I, for one, will be grinding my ass off to get full BM gear before we start playing ranked.  What this means is that I'll be playing a LOT of PvP, and I'd like to spend a majority of that time grouping with members from my team.

Shall we rename some ts channels to our team names under PvP? Possibly Team liberatas , Team Emeritus, etc with a general PvP, Ranked PvP etc? Just to start getting used to who should go where etc... Please don't hound for misspells lol iPhone

That's what I'm talking about! We want to stay competitive, and with the knowledge that Expertise is getting an upgrade, getting geared up will be a priority.

I think you both are missing my point...
Sick of trying to be nice about it so I'll revisit this later with more clear thoughts perhaps after we get to ranked WZs and see how it plays out, but I certainly don't think you're a weak link - if anything I'm saying the ONLY team that might even know what their deficiencies are might be is T's group.
My suggestion would have been that if you were dead set on making teams, to have someone who was active in WZs give input.

Oh, okay.  I think I get what you're saying now.

These teams as they stand are merely T's suggestions, based on class composition and apparent time schedules.  I hardly think it was meant as a final list, but rather as a starting point for our upcoming practicing.  Once we all start practicing with each other, I think teams (which may or may not be as they are listed here, but probably won't be) will naturally form from it.

It's not based on ability. It's based on class requirements and scheduling. If schedules don't work, we'll shift around until things settle, just like we did with the raid groups.

Maybe we should take a look at schedules again as people may have different schedules for a fixed 3 hour raid over 1 hour of pvping a day but I think tbone initial layout is something we can begin with at least until we know the exact details of the rankings, for monday I'm not interested in fixed teams as I want to encourage as many of the guild to take part Si ignore the groups for this week as this is something we can all take part in hope to see you all there consider this a code furry event if you are able to attend then do so

I was once a supporter of a mix of columni and champion gear mainly because of the crappy alacrity stat on the champion gear now I support stacking as much expertise as you can if your battle master rank
