In related news, a very limited number of pure white color crystals have been recovered by a Hutt-sponsored expedition into uncharted space. As of today, small stocks of these extremely rare and expensive crystals have started to appear in Vendor stocks at the primary Imperial and Republic transportation hubs. With no new shipments expected for several months, those wealthy enough to afford these crystals may find themselves in possession of a highly sought-after collectable.

Sounds like the White Crystals will NOT be craftable anytime soon. God dammit.

I read that more as a, "We're going to toss them on vendors in 1.1.5 until 1.2 when all the economic changes hit."

My reasoning: "In our upcoming Game Update 1.2, we'll be introducing a wide assortment of new features and content, while also introducing a number of improvements and changes to the in-game economy."

Yet, the update is for 1.1.5? So yeah. That's what I suspect is going on.

It kind of makes sense too. They're saying that people try to make tons of credits on new economic changes by predicting what materials/goods will be most popular, saving those materials or rolling a new crew skill, then capitalizing on it. Although basically fair and not really an abuse of mechanics... it does cause economic problems like inflation. So, I see this as a way for them to avoid that side effect of changing up the crafting system post-launch.

So with white crystals being a limited time collectible that won't be craftable or attainable anytime soon once it goes away, what's the best way to grind credits? I need at least 10 mil and currently have about 5.2. Yes, I know about dailies. Yes, I know about selling stuff on the market. But I'm also trying to find mobs/slicing nodes/chests/something to grind after I've done everything else.

We tried that last night and Axial Park was only dropping about 200 per group and I didn't see any slicing nodes. We went to Government District and those mobs were dropping about 400 per group, but there was definitely no slicing nodes there.

That definitely sounds like the best way to run things. That's much more worthwhile than the corellia farming.

3rd run only netted me 42k but that sstill pretty decent for a 18 min run

Of course, this should be noted that any farming techniques we use in guild should.not be discussed with non-members. While this is in no way an exploit, this is an effective farming technique that may not be entirely intended by the developers. We don't want this to be nerfed.

Are you killing mobs or just grabbing chests?

mainly chests but kill anything you agro a you cant loot chests while in combat, ive been draging anything i do agro with me through the instance till i either hit a chest or a boss then killing everything there.  Also did a few runs of maelstrom turns out its a good second alternative i can run it in 13 mins and net 31-33k a run making it a 125k an hour farm and theres only 1 chest that isnt a boss chest to get
