can we have an eu version with the date the correct way round

OMG YES PLEASE!
I HATE how we do the date in America. Ever since I was little this has bugged the hell out of me and I think I was 6 in school when I first had to learn about the calendar and found out that Europe actually does it the right way. So I started writting it the way they do and I have caught nothing but grief for it.

Just started my new job last week and they actually made me re-do all the paperwork because of this. Fucking american pioneers. Changing shit that didn't need to be changed.
I used to think I was perfect. However, thinking ones self perfect is conceit and conceit is a character flaw... I have no character flaws.

Awesome example, G.  My only criticism is the date.  I don't care which format it's in (American or European), but it just looks like a random string of numbers without the proper seperators.

And am I the only one who thinks our logo would look awesome in gold against the black background?

I really like it G, but I can't help but feel like the back side of the coin has too much blue. Maybe it's just me.  I don't really see another way to do the Republic sign.

It's easy to change the color to white...

First of all i love it as is... if it stayed as is i'd be perfectly fine with it.

I would agree the date does look like a random number string, also regarding the date wouldn't it only have pre-launch relevance?  After launch it's outdated.  If we're going to do a date maybe the date FA was created?

Alternately instead of the date put your order?  Or better... put the URL on the back side... and put your order on the front side.  Doing something like making real pins and what not probably not a great idea as that would cut your volume run rate down and drive up your price per unit.

Actually if you make me the front emblem with Aequitas Order on the bottom instead of the URL i'd love you long time, maybe just like you a lot for a little while?

Regardless of the details its great work!

A couple mock-ups I threw together during the interviews tonight.

Coin Front (click image for full size)

Coin Back

That's what I've been looking for as examples...  Please submit more if any have them.

The last coin had the guild inception date on it... or close to it "officially furious since 2004"

Personally I like using the date of release as our Ascension.  Ties it to the specific goal.... And WE WILL LIMIT the coin only to those members in guild at that date.

Go ahead, make my day.

We could just put December 2011 to avoid the date format, that and most of us will be playing pre-release anyway.

One other note - I would want to make sure the URL is on the side with our logo - mainly because when we show it off we want that bit to be in peoples minds.

I like it overall, but can we get the republic logo in a darker blue?

Unfortunately I didn't save a PSD of the darn things, so I'm basically gonna have to redo them from scratch. So is everyone ok with the following changes?

-December 2011 (instead of EU/US date string)
-Darker blue for Republic symbol
-Gold FA symbol

Any other ideas or changes you guys want?

Come on Litium, if you're gonna take the time to read the posts and say something, could you at least contribute some sort of opinion relating to the subject?

Maybe remove "THE" from Furious Angels on the front? And... Instead of the URL, insert the Order? I.E Aequitas.

If I had the source code... Life would be easier.

Again, I say keep the URL. It would help gain more hits when seen.
