Looks like i'm getting a second beta invite ^^

Turns out some... or all of the squad 1020 beta weekend testers are getting a second invite to test the new build! I am very happy to have another chance to help tweak the game further! Anyone else?

I don't understand why they don't send out new invites. With so many changes going on, it doesn't make sense to keep the same people in. Eventually that well is gonna tap out.

As our most recent phase of Game Testing ended, you may have received an email stating that you no longer have access to the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ game servers. This is true, but only temporarily - apologies for any confusion! You are still a valued member of the Game Testing Program, and will be re-gaining access to the servers soon.

As part of the next phase of testing, we are deploying a new build of Star Wars: The Old Republic to our game servers, with many changes included based on your feedback. This build is getting deployed very soon, so keep watching the Testing Forums and your inbox for an update on when you will be re-admitted.

Accessing this new build will require you to re-download and re-install Star Wars: The Old Republic. To ensure the game client works correctly, we strongly advise you to uninstall your existing copy of The Old Republic via the Windows Control Panel. Installation instructions for the new client will be issued closer to the beginning of the new phase.

Yup... so I can confirm it's likely all of the last round of testers. I'm very happy because I can actually prepare and watch for this one, maybe get all of the time they give us to play.

So not only did they cancel the rest of the beta weekends, but now they are just going to use the first round for the rest of testing?

I'm just hoping for a bit of advanced noticed this time. I think I got my spam mail issue handled this time around, so I should be able to ask off work for a few days to test. Now to buy some diapers and lots of hot pockets.

I'm sure some of you have seen this already, but for those that have not... Check out the second "quote box" on the link below. They'll be inviting other folks in. They're just adding the last testing group to this one because of the poor quality and/or short amount of time to experience the game those player had. Pretty awesome of them. I have to say, I'm impressed with their additude towards it. They could have easily just said, "Sorry folks, you knew this was a beta test and things do go wrong in a beta, after all!"

Anyway, it looks like you guys may get an invite for the next round after all. Just have to wait and see!

In all fairness a lot of people didn't get a chance the fist weekend to test because of issues on bioware's end. So it's a warranted re-invite. All those that did get the full play time now get it all over again, like myself.
