Halo 2, eat your heart out.

This is the FPS of the mother fucking century. Great graphics, fairly strong storyline for what it is, extremely well put together, fantastic voice acting, fucking terrifying.

So, if you could classify it as one of the following, what would it be? Action? Adventure? Horror/Survival? Barrel-down-the-corridors-with-your-finger-breaking-the-trigger-screaming-DIEZOMBIESDIE-at-the-top-of-your-lungs-and-getting-yelled-at-to-shut-up?

All of the above, with the definite focus being action. Barreling down the corridors is a good way to get yourself killed in this game. Your opponents tend to dodge out of the way. They don't utilize great tactics, but for mindless zombies, they're not bad.

hmm how can you classify this as better then games that arent out yet.now im not saying that this game isnt better then halo 2 will be im just saying this. no i havent plaed the game yet my comp sux so i probally will have to wait for it on xbox..

Hybrid, I have always been a Half Life fan.  Not only can I not wait for the second one to come out, I can't wait for the third one either (it's a trilogy).  On other news I have to wait another 9 days before I can purchase Doom 3.. so sad, but so worth waiting for.

lol i think most of the ppl in this clan who have doom 3 didnt puchase it but thats beound the point. im waiting for the xbox version unfortunatly my computer suckx so i also have to get half life 2 on the xbox unless i pop my xbox open and take the video card out...hmm maybe ill buy another xbox and take the peices out nad put them in my comp lol i dought it owuld work tho

The Xbox only has a GeForce 4 in it,  it would be worthless to take out.  I don't want to D/L Doom 3 because I want to use Multi player..

That's my only worry about downloading, that multi won't work- people who have downloaded what is your experience with it- can you still play online?

Some games you can get bypass cracks for, and almost all games have some cracked servers that don't check cd-key. Just search google for lists on ip's

But I think singleplayer will be the coolest part of doom3 actually.

I just wish they would release a demo so I could try it out. I just bought Far Cry so I'm not really ready to buy anything yet. I'm a saving person .

I've been hearing alot of good things about Doom 3 - but I must say I am pretty skeptical.  Because at the same time, I have been hearing alot of it's bad qualities too.  It will be a long time before I ever purchase Doom III because my computer wont be able to handle it, though I guess that is besides the point.  Plus, I dont think it's wise to talk about having it and not actually buying it .. :]

Well plus, it's pretty fucking lame to not pay for a game somebody's worked 5 years on to create. They've already lost like 2.5 million dollars because of this, and the game's only been out a couple days.

I don't really give a shit about downloading songs and that sort of stuff online, or old games or even movies, but you're a pretty fucking low form of life if you cheat your way into playing DOOM III or anything else so new.

But maybe I just respect the work people put into shit more than most.
