Praelium Order - Weekly check-ins/meetings?

Just a quick thread for Euro's to consider:

Should we be thinking about some sort of weekly meetings, etc, just for us?? Considering our time zone, we rarely get a chance to get in on the Monday meeting (would be around 3am my time).

Although there may be minimal business to discuss (although always nice to hear what has been raised in normal FA meetings so we can keep up), it might be a chance to get us used to being online together pre-release.

There may not be a real "need"... but I think it will help bring the crew together a bit more so we are ready to roll.

I like this idea if there's enough interest. Our Euro community is growing pretty steadily, and I don't want to leave them out. Anamodiel usually takes notes (or I can forward my notes to whoever will run this). The meetings are on Monday night, so probably Tuesdays would be best for you guys. I guess it depends on if NoCry is available for this.

really good idea Ket old chap - perhaps once a month it would also be good to have the normal FA Monday meeting at an earlier time so us euro's can attend (I am one hour ahead of the brits where I am) too.

Can a few more of Praelium please let me know which day/ time suits you.

Oddly during the summer I am less available as my boss spends his summer in France and wants me with him seemingly at every waking hour at present. My schedule eases however during the winder to spring period.

I like the idea as I would like to attend meetings but the normal ones are quite late for us Brits.

Anytime after 6pm GMT is good for me on anyday apart from possibly Thursday and friday depending on my shifts it would be after 9pm GMT.

9pm ish most nights is fine - anytime before 8:30 and I risk needing to put a child to bed...

one thought too would be if it were on a Saturday or Sunday you could probably get some of us American folks around to help share what's been shaking. Since fewer of us would be trapped at work during the day on the weekend, just a thought though.

yea, I would like that too....the monday meetings are like 4am here, managed to catch it quite a few times but lately I simply havent been awake for it :/ personally, Im new and I actually dont even know who's in the order, lol (might just be me missing some forum post somewhere? idk - have been looking)

You can check the roster page which will hold details (provided it's been filled out by everyone!).

Back in MxO days we used to have separate forums for each ship (order), where we could post, which may be good to bring back for "order specific posting"....

This is definatley a good idea when i joined i was usually up til 4am anyway so was able to go to the us meetings but latley old age (27) and the stress of work has been bringing my pass out time to about 2am so i have been unable to attend.

any time between 6pm and 1am is good for me or if you want a drunk ex about 4am on a saturday morning after a friday night drinking sesh

Also been thinking I will have to change orders to Praelium as most of my old MxO team are here anyway I will have to make a note to speak to my current captain to check if thats ok.

I think you switching orders is a good idea Ex mainly cos It would be nice to work with the old team as well as some new people

check with Annamodiel Ex; should not be a problem as we are trying to keep EU (or indeed non EU members but still our timezone;)) members together - for obvious reasons. For my part, you would be welcome.

Probably come as a relief to that order too, given how he fails at the majority of things.

Anyway, for me.  Can guarantee I'd be free 6 out of 7 nights after 9pm, but usually 7pm onwards.  Anything before 11 though, as I like to relax in bed after that.

Oooooh burn. I think Ex would be great addition to the Praelium Order mainly cos he's such a great tactician

Perhaps need to consider upping recruitment for this order... I see all new guys coming in are GMT-5 Yay for US orders though.
