You can turn off audio and video individually.  So people can see you but not hear you, or hear you but not see you.

Yup, he's right. I just checked the email and just asks if i wanted G+ to keep me posted on when they are taking invitations.

Fuse just sent me one as well. Same thing...doesn't work. Although now I have a new bar on the right side of my gmail...might be part of the new Google+ theme that you can choose from Themes. It's called "Preview".

Same thing with Google Docs and Google Calendar, I believe. It looks like all of the Google apps are going for a unified appearance.

Also, saw a news report this morning that said Mark Zuckerberg is leading the pack with the most followers on Google+ so far. :P
