Has anyone other than myself read these? they are actually pretty well written and I think will help us have a great advantage with RP when the game starts..

As cheap as it makes me sound, I'm waiting for some sort of paperback version or something.

I just can't justify 30 bucks on a hardcover, I just like food too damn much.

That being said, I do really want to read them.

Well, I WANT to give them my money. But I don't want to give them that much of it. That's half the price of the game. How does that work?

How so.  Reading of the written word is not devalued based on medium.  while I do prefer my novels in hardcover, I'll read a good book in any form I can get it.  I will have to look for those.

Loved Fatal Alliance. Really enjoyed how it didn't end in a predictable manner and it's characters had a bit a depth to them. Though the Imperial Agent pissed me off. Haven't read Deceived yet but it's on my reading list for the Summer. That and Revan has me pumped. That and a new comic lot to look forward to lore wise.

As for price, Amazon guys. Both books going for under $16.50 buy both together and you get free shipping.

Because they're killing the living of writers around the world; books are cheaper on kindles and the like, so writers are now paid less than with paper books. I too prefer hardcovers, holding a piece of plastic doesn't have the same charm.

I'm currently reading fatal alliance. It's pretty good so far.

I plan on reading deceived next. I read the first chapter and it was very well written. I felt like I was standing right next to Malgus... "DARTH   MALGUS   STRODE THE  AUTO WALK , the steady rap of his boots on the pavement the tick of a chrono counting down the limited time remaining to the Republic."

First chapter is here.. http://cdn-www.swtor.com/sites/all/files/en/na/TOR_Deceived_Chapter_1.pdf

Second is here http://www.starwars.com/media/general/Deceived_chapter_2.pdf

Third is here http://www.rebelscum.com/books/Kemp-SW-TOR-DECEIVED-chap3.pdf

I'm about 1/4 of the way through Deceived; so far, so good.

CANNOT WAIT for the new Revan novel to come out, that fills the gaps between KOTOR 1, 2 and TOR in regards to Revan's plot.
