I popped onto the server.  I was amazed at the amount of lag I was getting for a game not all that sophisticated.

You located in the UK?  Hmm.. dunno man.  I have a buddy from Switzerland who hasn't complained of lag.  What are your system specs?

I can assure you it won't be system specs.  UK broadband falls behind most first world countries in my opinion.  And the situation only gets worse the further you are from a city or town.

Do you know if we can mine obsidian?  I tried but either it was taking along time or we cant.

Obsidian takes ~15 seconds to mine with a Diamond pickaxe, and ~50 seconds with an Iron pickaxe.

So I purchased this game yesterday, and it may be the most addicting thing ever invented.  I'm loving it so much.

It's really pretty awesome.  Very awesome, very unique game.  Erathaol, once you've gotten the basics, connect to the multiplayer server.  It's 10 times more fun in my opinion.

Seriously, if you ever considered buying this game but have hesitated for whatever reason, your chance to get in on the ground floor is soon coming to a close.  

Anyone who buys the game now, while in Alpha, will receive all future game updates for free!  THIS WILL NOT BE THE CASE AFTER DECEMBER 20TH!  Beta players will receive free game updates up until release.  No official word yet on how the pricing structure will work after that.

It's roughly $14 USD right now, and multiplayer is INSANELY fun.  I know FA could have some great times on our own server.
