What was the solution Tbone?

Also, we're asking if people want a map wipe.  Vote here:  http://blog.omeganerd.com/post/2483687793/vote-should-we-start-a-new-map

It was my video driver. The only way for me to update it is to go to laptopvideo2go and use a modified inf file with the download. It took me a while to remember that was how I could do it. Once I updated, the problem went away.

When's the new map coming in, because there's no sense in me playing while it is still the old map if it is just going to get wiped.

Waiting on input from everyone.  Did you all vote?

If so I'd add the the convo to help move it along.  We wanted to do it today but only 21 people have voted

My vote is for a server wipe.  But I don't want to register an account just to vote on a poll.  :)

Can we still run off into the wilderness and make a house?

I certainly intend to.  Except when hanging out with the others or participating in a group project, I'm going to pretend that big eyesore of a city doesn't exist.  It just seems so... carebear to me.

I probably won't even be taking advantage of the starting package, since I'd feel like I cheated using it so kick-start my new domain.
That's the joy of Minecraft; we can all play however we wish without stepping on anyone else's toes.

Ok so when ever I log on I always run into these huge pits, they seem to be around the road intersections, so I just wanted to know if anyone else is running into these? Also we need street signs.

The giant pits arent real. Try to place something there or walk on it or even change your fog density and they should disappear.
