[historynerd]Actually, if I remember correctly, there was a siege on Paris when the Prussians attacked during the 19th century during the Franco-Prussian War. but it only lasted a few months because the French were just eating croissants all day long and sipping on wine.[/nerd]

That was my biggest fear.  Nobody can top George Carlin.

I was skeptical about this at first, but it sounds like they really want to do a good job with it, rather than reboot the franchise simply for nostalgia.  I always pretend that "Bogus Journey" never happened, so I'm hoping they stick closer to the original.
