The studio I work for did a trailer for AIA / NASA to promote the Space Launch System. It's being shown in participating theaters across the US today before showings of Star Trek. It's pretty awesome... if only because we got Peter Cullen for voice work. ;)

God... can you imagine if we gave NASA the same budget that we give our military?

EDIT: Not trying to spark any kind of debate.  I just wish we would start dumping some serious cash into the space program.  :)

We'd conquer the solar system :-p

Just for comparison,
Nasa gets 0.5% of the federal budget
The military-defense programs get 20% that would be a 40x increase :-)

I agree with my man Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson on this one, we should just give NASA 1%

Yeah, the NASA budget is a joke. :/

Also, if any of you are interested in the future of space exploration, keep an eye on SLS. Working on the mobile app side of the SLS "Inspire" campaign and it's pretty nifty if I say so myself. ;)

Anyway, tonight I am going to the Cannes Film Festival and have red carpet tickets, I know, cool, right!

What film would I be seeing but...."all is lost". Guess who is in it?? that's right, one of my free passes.
