I have to share my pain.  This... this is too good.  I just had a dumbfuck coworker explain to me that there exists a car that is powered by water vapor.  What follows is a condensed transcript of our conversation:

Him: "They make cars that run on water."
Me: "How does the water power the car?"
Him: "The water gets converted into steam that moves turbines."
Me: "What heats up the water to convert it into steam?"
Him: "Batteries."

Batteries!  MOTHERFUCKING BATTERIES!  The BATTERIES heat the WATER to turn it into STEAM which moves TURBINES to power the car!  But it gets better!

Me: "So... why haven't I heard anything about this?"
Him: "The oil companies are keeping it from seeing mass production."

IT'S A CONSPIRACY NOW!  "Big oil" is suppressing the secret of evaporation that will solve the energy crisis!  We can't use these batteries to directly power the car, mind you.  That would be too goddamn simple.  We need them to boil the fucking water!

I want to ask him if there is a way to trap the vapor within the car to convert it back into water to be used again.  That would be infinite energy!

Holy shit I need to take a fucking walk.
