So. I'm watching NFL and basically there's a small amount of running, a bit of pushing then a long wait many times over & over. Its like a big dance and the referees are backing dancers. What's with the helmets and ridiculous shoulder pads?

If there's only a small amount of running and only a little pushing you're watching bad football.

What you should be seeing is fast paced action with hitting that makes you turn your head and wince from time to time.

Rugby confuses the hell out of me. You can pass back but not with the kicking and the tuning and what? Freaking Europeans. Although I do think most of the New Zealand team is smoking hot.

It's the breaks every twelve seconds that annoy the crap out of me - their warm ups are more strenuous than the actual game itself. Oh there were some big hits that made me chuckle, but nothing good - plus the juggernaut armour makes it boring. You only need a gum shield/mouth guard I do like the tactical side of it, though.

You can kick forwards, but the people in front can't catch it - so there's loads of sprinting. You can't drop the ball forwards either, but you can charge down a kick from the opposition.

I want more stingers and concussions! Big blows! Is that too much to ask??

I mean, I enjoy Family Guy and all, but absolutely nothing about it seems translatable to an MMO.  Does PvP consist of who can form the most irrelevant non sequitor?
