Watching that just breaks my heart. I would LOVE to see Microsoft go this direction with their next console, but projector technology hasn't seen enough of an improvement in manufacturing cost to really see this come to life.

Makes me wonder what Sony is going to start fielding to compete.

Sony is having a tough time competing these days, they lost a lot of market share to Korean companies like Samsung, so their R&D budget is much much smaller.
