I think there's a difference between a free to play game with a cash shop (like Guild Wars 2, though I haven't looked to see if they have that) and a p2p game that adds a limited f2p option.

That sums up a lot of it for me. SWTOR has not gone F2P in the truest sense, but instead have added a F2P option. Someone that might have played the game in the past will notice the difference, a new player won't. The new player will see what's available to subscribers and hopefully be incentivized to monetize.

If as a subscriber you feel you're truly getting your money's worth, then nothing I said should bother you in the least.

I no longer play the game, but I do still follow its development very closely.  Because, and this is the god's honest truth, I want to like the game, because I want to get back to gaming with all of you guys.  But after $200 million dollars, the best Bioware could do was WoW with lightsabers.  That's just not something I think is worth playing, even for free.

I accept that plenty of people are enjoying the game.  I don't understand it, but I accept it.

I still put in enough hours to justify the money. Raiding content, PvP, and more recently crafting is keeping me modestly busy and entertained. Do I wish there was more? Yes. But wanting more is better than wanting none of it.

I keep on liking and then disliking it. Whenever I can play, no one is on (SWTOR is hard without talk shit with Sared in Guild Chat) or they're all about to leave; except for Kokuei, who's a machine.

I think they are going in a good direction with the game though; the content add-ons are much bigger than what the MxO dev team ever produced.

BenQ XL2420TX came last night.  Set it up, but haven't had a chance to test it yet.

@broin - I think 30 euros or something. After much moaning and 2 hours on hold to A FRENCH CUSTOMER SUPPORT REP I got my coins.

No, nothing special, just like the way the boxes fly down and seeing nocry cheer;)
