I read this, and their reasoning for doing it makes absolutely no sense.

"Oh, Alan Scott is going to be younger in this New 52 storyline, so he can't have kids.  So Obsidian, his gay son, doesn't exist.  Let's just make Alan gay instead."

Because I'm waiting for the jokes about hard light constructs being used in various creative ways.

This might be the most amazing chronological movie timeline of all time for "Pulp Fiction".

I was really excited up until the combat portion.  The character is portrayed as a covert, shadowy, technological mastermind... but then he cracks a guy's skull in a crowded club, and then shoots someone in the face in the middle of a busy street.  Way to be discreet, idiot.

I want to play a character who can outsmart their opponents rather than out-tough them.  I loved building a sneaky character in Deus Ex, but it was always ruined when I had to clumsily brute force my way through a boss fight.

Still, the environments and AI look incredible.  And new IP's are always nice to see among the swaths of sequels.  Looking forward to more.

This was more or less the only thing holding back HR for me. The out-of-place boss fights that broke my immersion (in spite of my much-practiced suspension-of-disbelief) faster than a smile leaves the face of an alcoholic who realizes his surprise birthday party is an intervention.

While I can appreciate that Ubisoft is aiming for a more 'realistic' approach (using a setting and mechanics system that, while not quite possible, are in fact very plausible-big hook for me), what I'm more interested in seeing is the AI behavior and interaction. The way the doorman might tag you had he not disrupted communications, dialogue options based on what you may have learned/researched on an individual.

Oh, and the main character's interaction with the guy in the club who hands him the gun. I ate that up. Moar please.

The game looks fucking awesome. Requires cursing.

I'm guessing here... but I think the lack of silent assassination was more to show incredible sections of the  game. Clearly, the mission trigger is listening in on the phone call in the night club, but could you have the fight in the night club with a silent weapon? If the traffic lights/crash sequence was .... improvised, could any method of getting the target be improvised everywhere? A bit like assassins creed, there could be a silent way, a very flambouant way, or a very messy way.

That, and it could've been an early story element, where you are not quite an assassin yet..

I don't know much about it, and about to go look... but it's this video means it makes my list.

I'm a total frickin rock star from mars.
C'mon bro, I got tiger blood.
