Publix... Listed on Forbes list of best places to work for 15 consecutive years. Privately held, free stocks, great 401k (though matching is a bit less than I get now), and many retire as millionaires without putting much effort into it. Meanwhile, the other company in Austin I interviewed with is essentially a startup and I'm really wanting to get out of the big corporate world.

BTW, I would work at google for about a day to get it on my resume, then book it unless I was working on very interesting cutting edge stuff. While they appease the masses, I couldn't stand 60 hour work weeks again.

My boss at KPMG must love me. She wants me to start early this summer. YES!

...And we will strike down upon those of Darkness, with great vengeance and Furious Anger, those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.

Used to work at an FEC called Boomers.  This is one of the songs we blasted over the sound system during laser tag games.

This is another - "Techno Jedi Master" by Torley Wong.

I do not trust the random numbers SWTOR is generating in game for divvying up raid drops. Instead I propose we use true quantum random numbers from now on!

http://150.203.48.55/Matrix.php

Quote
The random numbers are generated in real-time in our lab by measuring the quantum fluctuations of the vacuum. The vacuum is described very differently in the quantum mechanical context than in the classical context. Traditionally, a vacuum is considered as a space that is empty of matter or photons. Quantum mechanically, however, that same space resembles a sea of virtual particles appearing and disappearing all the time. This results in the fact that the vacuum does not possess a zero-point energy, and consequently the electo-magnetic field describing this vacuum possesses random fluctuations in phase and amplitude at all frequencies. By carefully measuring these fluctuations, we are able to generate ultra-high bandwidth random numbers.

I guess for those of you looking for a modern 'matrix-like' experience can look forward to the new Max Payne.
