Never. The heli I got is a 6ch capable of doing that shit, but I am not.

In fact, 15 minutes after getting it charged up, I hit something and broke a tail mount and my blades before ti even got off the ground.
Bought parts, read a lot, balanced everything, installed new servos, and tried again. On second spoolup, the training gear popped off the mount and flew across my buddy's yard - next time he mows his lawn he'll find a piece of it.
I said "awwww what the hell, let's pull the rest of the training gear off and give it a shot!

20seconds of flight later a wind gust (mixed with my novice flight sim skills) crashed it again. This time breaking the main frame, canopy, and the replacement tail mount.

Today the mailman was supposed to deliver my new frame, tail mount, metal tailboom support, and canopy, but it isn't here. Boo.

Bottom line: Not gonna happen. I'm fixing this one, and either shelving it for a few years or selling it. Tomorrow I'm buying the coax version of this one... the Lama 400D.

Parts finally came. My back hurts from working ont he floor for the last 3 hours.

1. Disassemble!


2. Frame/Boom!


3. Servos, electronics, blades, canopy!


So I'm shelving this until I learn to really fly.
And to do that, I just bought a LAMA 400D.

Cool, I guess? I've never been a huge Diablo fan, but I'll check it out. I'm honestly much more interested in Heart of the Swarm coming out.
