Was watching Futurama last night and this popped on the screen.

I paused netflix so I could see if the series really is divergent - it is (limit comparison to 1/n, p-series = 1, harmonic). I'm pretty sure the 2^n is just there to make it look more mathematical.

Calculus in cartoons! What is the world coming to?

Futurama is full of little gems like this.  Whenever I see some complex math appear on the show, I just assume it's accurate because all the writers are huge nerds.

Didn't they actually figure out a certain algorithm that wasn't used before for one of their episodes?

My wife linked that video a couple of days or so ago. I told my wife she was hot and I'd hit it. She said so would she. lol!

This girl has real vision. I've always loved piano and violin mixed into trance. Hearing this got me into it all again. I really hated dubstep and still can't listen to a lot of it, but this made me more curious about what I was missing, for sure.

Dude what is it with me... her lisp is so friggin hot.  SO HOT!

I'm a tard.

Anyway, that said, the music was badass but I cringed at the dancing a little.  Just seemed weird... I dunno.  Also that ice castle thing was so friggin badass (Did anyone think caverns on Illum?) but I feel like whoever was shooting that vid really dropped the ball on some of those shots.  If they could have scrubbed or cropped out the things like houses and junction boxes it would have been so surreal, but the immersion was instantly dropped as soon as I realized this was like someone's back yard.  I'm totally nit picking but .. yeah.

It's definitely not traditional dubstep, but more the redheaded step-child of dubstep known as "brostep".

I can't stand a lot of dubstep, and I chalk it up to me being too stupid to understand it.  Brostep tends to incorporate more breakbeats and melody.  It's just easier for me to wrap my head around.

Modern composition,

NOW WITH 87% MORE WUB WUB.

6/10. Decent production value, and well enough preformed, but nothing stood out to me as particularly creative or memorable in the melody or rhythm.

Aphex Twin did a piece like this a while back, if you're looking for something similar, but a little more mellow.

Brostep?! wtf? how many steps are there anyway?!

I'll stick to my vocal trance and rock, I guess.

-Also... on her dumb dancing: I like it. Popping her back like she does... Oh for the love of god the imagination runs wild!!!

Also.. just imagine that this image is more related to what we're discussing, when in reality it is only here because I said imagination runs wild.... and wanted to post this potentially funny image for you all to see. :D
