Not bad work, really. Considering I had to make it myself. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO SEW INTO FISHNETS???

Making your own costume is always great fun!

Whoa, that is a brave costume!

I was working all weekend. A couple of my friends (including Dagonet) and I hung out after work, though, and I made this costume in about 30 seconds to celebrate:

I was Rorschach for Halloween last year. What did you use for the mask? I ended up cutting up an undershirt and drawing on it with sharpie (big mistake, sweat makes sharpie bleed a little). And since I only have a top hat, and not a fedora, I had to borrow my buddies fedora. Let's just say, I have a big head. And other than being stupid hot all night, it was pretty awesome being him for Halloween. The only problem is, we had a professional photographer taking pictures (unofficially, she was just taking them for fun), but she never uploaded the pictures so I don't think there is any evidence from that night.

It always sucks when people take pictures of those kind of things and never seem to upload them. =(

What did you use for the mask?

http://www.envirosafetyproducts.com/Painters-Head-Spray-Sock.html

Picked up two of those from Home Depot.  Put one on facing forward, then another over it facing backward.  The fabric was absolutely perfect because it allowed the sharpie to bleed ever so slightly, so if you get close enough it looks similar to the movie effect.

For the design, I looked at different rorschach designs online.  The design I chose actually appears in the graphic novel.  Took a piece of paper and folded it in half, and sharpie'd half of the design on one side.  The ink bled through to the other side of the page giving a perfect match on the other side.

I taped the design to a piece of cardboard, slipped the mask over the cardboard and traced through the fabric.

Sorry for the election post, but here in Illinois the concept of possibly being a red state is very odd to me. If you lived here, you'd know "Illinois" is actually pretty right, but Chicago has the population and is always blue.

In 2006 there was a blue belt in sothwest IL - each of those counties seem to be pushing red for both the senate and governor positions - but I'm still not %100 sure it cane overcome the Chicago machine. 1 Million votes in Cook county have already been counted.

{random election post}
wow... Brady is winning in every county of IL so far except big Chicago three (Will, Cook, Kane) and Alexander - yet Quinn is still on top so far. Damn you Chicago.

EDIT{9:06fa}: Will and Kane with Brady on top now. Still close in Will. So now it's Quinn who is winning two counties, one of them being Chicago, and still Brady trails by 8 points? Wow.

Also for Obama's old seat here in Illinois, Giannoulias is ahead by 4 points, but only holds a lead in 4 counties.
