Love those games.  I'll try to get L4Dead 2.  I have the first one.

I just tried the first one. Lots of shooting zombies with the shotgun. I'm really not getting the whole "strategy teamwork" aspect yet, other than saving teammates with something tries to eat them or knock them over.

Wait until you get on hard levels... only played LFD2, though. Tactics really help.

The multi-player "Mutations" in L4D2 are really fun.  Especially when you're playing the zombie side as the abilities of the mutated require a completely different style of play.

The newest iteration of the PayPal app for the iPhone lets you deposit checks via taking a picture. Considering I am like 400 miles from my nearest bank branch, this is going to be the most handy app on my phone now.

Got rid of the SRT-4 today and got an 03 350Z. Got a great deal on it, and also got way more for the SRT than I expected.

Definitely want to get new wheels, but other than that I'm very happy with it so far.

I'm heading to Perugia tomorrow to the Chocolate Festival. It's very similar to Oktoberfest, except with chocolate.... aahhhh I'm so excited.

BUT. On the way back from the bar tonight, I ran into this woman, in English, bad-mouthing the United States. As a patriotic member of society, I started an "AMERICAN, FUCK YEAH" chant. Needless to say, she stated bitching about BOTH the Afghanistan and the Iraq Wars, and even went so far as to say "who cares" about the WTC attacks.

What the fuck.

...And we will strike down upon those of Darkness, with great vengeance and Furious Anger, those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.

I'm on your side Ana, but don't get me started.....  Too many people let "the media" do their thinking for them. If it weren't for the media's biased anti-American bullshit these loud mouth liberals wouldn't  have anything of their own to say.  There are too many variables out there known and unknown to say one side is all right or all wrong. But I can tell you that the USA has a few enemies that want to see us fall regardless of if we turn a blind eye to all else but domestic issues.  Maybe our concern should be what is best for this country as a whole and not what is best for one party/agenda or another.

...and to those that still think this is all about oil you are probably right....play any RTS and you will quickly discover that whoever controls the most resources controls all.  This is no game and you cannot hit reset or rage quit if your losing. Believe it or not there is oil money funding terrorism.

Call me crazy, misinformed or whatever but shit got real long before 9/11 and America needs to wake the fuck up. We are a over sensitive pansified version of what we used to be.  You want to end terrorism? That ain't gonna happen.  But you can let them know that they cannot hide behind religion if they plan on doing harm to Americans or our interests.  Our enemies need to know that if you attack us all bets are off. Fuck these politically correct panties.

....sorry. I got started.  /endrant.

The problem really is that terrorists aren't traditional nation states, so it's harder to put a one-size-fits-all label on the bad guy. Your next door neighbor could be browsing al qaeda recruiting sites and making youtube videos about how we're all infidels who will burn for eternity. That same person could be a 15 year old pasty white kid who goes to the same church as you.

It is scary. In addition to bullets and uav strikes, we really need a unified front on the American way of life. That really starts with getting our import/export ratio back to healthy ratios, which really means innovation and research to make things people want to buy and personal accountability on behalf our every eligible voter as an example to the rest of the world that Democracy can work if people rise to the occasion.
If all the world's problems were solved today, what would you have left to do tomorrow?
