I love Roma, but I really miss you guys.

I promise to come on Teamspeak one day completely sober and talk with all of you.

My facebook and email has been hacked (twice each in 3 hours), so if anyone gets anything via FB, email or on here that's out of character; ignore it.

Should be ok from now; apparently the firewall I downloaded (Sygate) has compatibility issues with Windows7, so I downloaded Zone Alarm last night and everything has been dandy since.

So I traded 4 text books in through Amazon.com's trade-in offer. All together the books were quoted by Amazon at ~$170 (if I had sold them privately would have gotten ~$200, but I liked the supposed convenience).

All the books were in excellent condition and shipped via the same box with the USPS label provided by Amazon. They shipped August 13th, box labeled received August 28, trade-in order labeled received September 2. Only one problem, 3 of the 4 books are listed as "Not Yet Received." So to date I have $22 credited (cheapest of the 4 books) to my account. I'm starting to think this is one big scam by Amazon to get my books essentially for free and them tell me they lost the others or that they were damaged and per there policy, destroyed instead of returned.

Anyone else ever use the trade-in service through Amazon?
If all the world's problems were solved today, what would you have left to do tomorrow?

Today marks 5 years since I got my job... I'm finally vested! (old person speak for finally getting something I've been contributing to for years)

So I've had a career for 5 years now, and I'm already sick of it. I want to retire already. At least I'm in a good place fairly safe from the crappy economy and still able to pay my bills (even if just barely).

Congratulations?

I don't think I could ever be at the same job for 5 years. I would kill myself too. The longest I've held a job is about 8 months and that was a long time. That's why I love my career choice. At the longest, I'll spend a year on a single project and then move on to the next. And every day at work is different. I have never experienced the same thing on set two days in a row.

Married? Own a home? Have kids? I use to think that way, and still wish I could. With the current job market beign what it is, I'm happy to have job security and garenteed benefits.

I love my career choice (although I'm only 3 years into the training) - even though I work to help people, every single one comes in with different illnesses all the time. Every single one is a challenge and gets the noggin' working.
