Right, so the i5 and i7 came out today and has hiked up the price to £929 with 4GB RAM.

So... how does the i5 compare to the duo core and i7. Is there much difference?

I'm thinking of getting the i5 since the i7 is considerably more... :/

Considering that the i7 runs at 2.26 ghz on turbo (Which, if i remember correctly means that when it's either using one or two cores it throttles the cores that are not being in use to overclock the currently used cores) It's quite a bit faster than the i5.

The i5 is a slight step up from the previous C2Duo Cpu. You might want to read up on how the i cores work though. I don't remember all the details for them in exact so =/

Just remember that you can should just try to find a rep willing to work with how much you're willing to spend.
