I believe I've heard Splinter Cell will have the same DRM protection, yes. It took them a month to crack Assassin's Creed 2, but I'm hoping since they now know which direction to go with it, it won't take long to crack Splinter Cell. If you don't get the cracked version, then yeah, you gotta be online.

Btw, just finished Assassin's Creed 2!! Pretty good game! Was worth the wait!

basically cracking the lock of software OS on the device so you can load your own versions of ROMs.

Imagine you buy a Dell PC which has windows xp on it with all the bloatware from Dell on it, but they lock it so you can't uninstall their software or a different OS. Rooting is getting rid of that lock.

I wish I were older. I have three semesters of school left once I get done with this one, which means I will be graduating in Winter 2011 if everything goes according to plan.

I turn 21 in March 2012. I'm going to be in graduate school at the age of 20. My entire senior year I am not going to be able to go to the bars with all of my friends and roommates. I've known this for a while, but it really just hit me, and it's really depressed me.

Basically, I need to find someone with an ID who sort of looks like me.
