LHC - God is REALLY protective of his particles...

In my last post about the LHC I questioned the theory that the Higgs Boson (which I affectionatly call 'Higgy-B') will cause nature to "'ripple backward through time' to stop the LHC ... like a time traveller who goes back in time to kill his grandfather".

Well Higgy's back at it again, this time not using electromagnatism and thermodynamics to screw up it's own birth. Oh no, this time it brought out the big guns...Higgy's weapon of choice now is the evil (those with wheat allergies hide your eyes) BAGUETTE!

This weapons of mass destruction was beleived to have been deployed by an indiginous bird after a hearty meal of the gluten filled product. Luckily civillians monitoring the LHCs stats noticed irregularities before catostrophic damage could be done by the winged terrorist.

No eye witnesses have come forward. Hopes to catch the assailant are low as they are considered an extreme flight risk.

Seasons 1-5 of LOST are on Hulu if anyone wants to start watching. I've started... and it's good fun. If you've never watched it, I would suggest doing so.

The final season comes out this January.

See, I thought about doing that at first, too, but then I realized that, once Season 6 ends, EVERYONE and their mother will know the ending (ala "Snape kills Dumbledore). I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be able to watch the first three seasons of LOST knowing the very ending. Well, maybe I would, but it wouldn't be near as interesting.

I was going to post this in the new "Politics" thread, but I didn't feel it would be appropriate:

I can't wait until we all become extinct.  Maybe... just maybe then we'll stop this centuries-long pissing contest with ourselves.  If we have to fight over something, let's restrict it to food and sex like every other creature on this forsaken rock.

The probability against us being here at all is fucking staggering, and all we can seem to do is see who can shout their opinions the loudest.

I just saw that IMDb has listed Kill Bill Vol. 3 for 2014. Which will coincidentally be 10 years since Vol 2 came out.
