SO yeah......

Borderlands.

Damn fun stuff.

It's definitely more of a Multiplayer game than it is single player.

So far it's very enjoyable.

On a scale from 1-10, what would you rate it?

I need to get Tekken 6, Borderlands, and Uncharted 2!

Maybe I'll make a trip to Best Buy today.  They're doing "Buy 2, get 1 free" on all video games.

Ends today, though.  It was from Sunday through today.

Assassin's Creed II, Dragon Age: Origins and Alpha Protocol are going to be my fav games of the year, me thinks. But I should really check out Uncharted 2.

Well i spent all night playing with Setun and two other real life friends.

It is now 7:40 as i type this.

Singleplayer is about... i guess a 6-8. The story is a bit odd since it feeds you very little throughout your missions. I won't say more than that though.

This game, however, SHINES in multiplayer and is an absolute blast. I give it a 8-9.

I think i would have given it a 10 but there are some little quirks that make it feel as though they didn't really plan things through when making the PC port / version.

Main thing is that there are no dedicated servers. Games are hosted on players pc's so that player will have to forward ports otherwise no one can join their game. Also, if the host freezes or crashes everyone is sent back to the main screen.

There is no options for customizing your mic. Your mic is Voice activated only and there are no options for sensitivty or even turning it off.

Also certain options like skipping the beginning cutscenes and other various settings were, for some reason or another, not implemented directly into the game and has to be tweaked through .ini settings.

Those are, in my eyes, the only negatives about the game. The game is a damn blast and quite challenging at times.

To put it best, it brings the fun and teamwork of Left 4 Dead but feels like it has more depth to it to keep it from getting boring like L4D eventually did.

I think the game has a bit of a slow start also but i really can't stop playing the damn thing after the ball gets rolling. I highly recommend it.

And of course, if you get it on PC, add me.

So I'm getting back from a Halloween party and I have to say, whatever it is about costume parties and married/committed women plus alcohol, but damn if I didn't see more tits ass and sex acts tonight than I did at some of the raunchier frat parties back in the day. I guess they're thinking "I'm married, so it's okay if wear next to nothing, ask a couple guys to rate how my bare butt looks (with and without heels on of course) or have another guy do jello shots off my boobs and then tell him to go back down and make sure he got it all. "

and that was the tame stuff!

Them there were some very desperate/aggressive housewives, not that I'm complaining...

note: My wife didn't do any of that stuff of course :-)

I didn't think it would be one you'd be interested in. I was originally told it was a family friendly affair (ie little kids and whatnot) and therefore kind of slow and boring, and the first half of the evening was. Once the little ones were off to bed/some families went home I guess the alcohol had saturated in.

I'm proud to say that I had the most conservatively costumed teenage daughter in the neighborhood.  Even as a "sexy ventriloquist doll", she wasn't pushing it nearly as far as her friends were.  They must have been freezing their asses off... because their asses were barely covered.

And next year, I'm going to turn away any kid who isn't in a fucking costume.  You don't get candy just for ringing my doorbell and holding your pillowcase open.  Go to Wal-Mart and pick up a cheap-o costume for $12, damnit.  More than half the trick-or-treaters we had this year were dressed in their street clothes.  Little fuckers aren't even trying anymore.
