As cool as it would be, I still don't think time is a tangible variant like space. We can change the effect of time, but we can't change time itself. Time is simply a unit of measurement created by man.
In other words, we could change perception of time. That's about it (make time appear to slow down or speed up to individuals). I know a lot of smart people say otherwise, but it's all theoretical and probably based on a wrong assumption somewhere down the line.

Fuck... this is why I don't like talking about this shit.  Makes me sound like a goddamn lunatic.  I'm going to go brown-bag a bottle of plum wine and hang out on a park bench while screaming at my invisible friend.

They also think that the closer you get to a black hole time warps and slows.. or at least your perception of time slows.. not really sure. I need to read up on that.

What's really gonna freak your mind out is the fact that since time is effected by gravity and the gravity particle is something that exists as a force within nature then it therefore means that there must be a time particle which regulates the constant flow of general relative time.  Hence with the cause and effect of one particle upon the other it should become possible to regulate the transient flow of the particles in concurence with their natural state.  Of course the intense amounts of matter and energy needed to cause such a reaction upon the particles is something which has not yet been achieved and we'll most lilkley never see within our lifetimes.

Go ahead, make my day.

Would just like to say jury duty, while one of the civil responsibilities that makes America great, is fucking boring as hell.
6 hours waiting for a panel that probably won't be called, 3 more to go :-/

edit: update, got called to a panel shortly after that post, took 2 and a half hours before the judge got around to me. I was dismissed in just over 10 seconds after confirming that I would take the word of police officers over that of a violent drug dealer accused of illegal possession of guns and ammunition.

Nice to see the justice system still works :-)
If all the world's problems were solved today, what would you have left to do tomorrow?

Hmm how about lits in a Harley Quinn outfit.  With the somewhat recent Batman film and Joker it would be fitting.  Unfortunately Harley wasn't in the movie but still I think it would be a quite sexy and original costume for halloween.
