I just saw 'Requim for a Dream' and my reaction is....

Drugs are bad, mmmkay?


PS... the movie is more of a mind f*^$ than 'Clockwork Orange'
I recommend seeing it for anyone even considering heroin/coke/meth/diet drugs/crack/whateverthehellesleyoukidsaredoingthesedays

you are soooooo late. That's one of my top 3 favorite movies of all time. I suggest you go rent Pi. It was Darren Aronofsky's first film and was more of a mindfuck than RfaD IMO.

I havent watched it in a long while, but love it. I'll have to pop it in tomorrow. thanks. =P

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is an amazingly good film and it's mandatory for every Student in the UK to watch, to prepare them for University. Heh.

Before I saw Requiem, I just plain old didn't care enough to want to try drugs.  The curiosity just wasn't there.  But after this movie, I am 100% certain that I never want to do anything stronger than caffeine.  It's rare when I actually turn to face away from the screen, but some of those final scenes were rather hard to watch.

As Fuse said, check out Pi if you haven't already.  It's just as much a mindfuck as Requiem, but it's a mindfuck in a much more compelling kind of way.  

Another Aronofsky great is The Fountain.  This movie is visually beautiful and loaded with metaphor.  Many people didn't like it, and I can't see why.  I won't say anything at the risk of spoilers, but it's one of my favorite movies to discuss.  :)

The sad thing is, as much as I cannot stand DbZ, the possibility for great gameplay is there.

I learned this lesson from Warhammer, and it should have been obvious. Don't trust a game trailer that doesn't show actual gameplay. It's why I wasn't drooling over the initial SWTOR trailer. :)
