Yeah - was suprisingly hard in some places. I want the old Zombies back though 'cause I'm hunting down Resident Evil 2 on the Playstation (I think it plays on the 1st gen. PS3) or for the Gamecube. Well written story aswell... is the series finished now? 'cause I love Chris as the main character (and that he's built like a shitbrickhouse also helps smacking the crap out of the Majini).

Have you?

Yeah, I've beaten it - loved it, as it provided many answers which I came in seeking.  It would seem that they can conclude the story at this point, but there are a number of things which still need to be addressed, which I'm sure they will do in future games as they have been consistent thus far in explaining as much as they have (I'll do my best to keep this spoiler free for those of you who are still playing or plan on picking it up):

First and foremost, I would imagine there is a LOT of cleanup to do with one particular facility in mind that you see in this game, as well as taking care of this new company which arose in the story.

Additionally, I would like them to:

a) Elaborate on what happened to Sherry Birkin (Wesker has her, according to canon)

b) Show what happened to Ada

c) Flesh out interactions a bit more between Leon/Chris/Claire and their work with the government (the recent CGI film Resident Evil:  Degeneration touched up on this a bit - watch it if you haven't already) - particularly because there was U.S. government involvement in regard to the Raccoon City incident

d) Explain what has been done with the remnants of Raccoon City (Umbrella continued research here for some time after it was nuked and before the company was shut down)

Considering all of the above, there are still samples of T-Virus / G-Virus / T-Veronica / Las Plagas / Uroburos and their derivatives floating around on the black market and in various laboratories (hence, why BSAA was established), and because of the nature of these viruses, a large scale catastrophic outbreak is inevitable.

Maybe the next RE will deal a global outbreak?

My god that would be epic - but I'd love to have a selection of characters and scenarios (like Resident Evil 2). Do you own Resident evil outbreak? Is it worth £15/ $28?

One thing though - bring back the mother fucking T'n'G Virus'!

Yes, I own Outbreak and Outbreak File #2 - you can likely find them dirt cheap if you get them used.  Here's the only problem, though - the servers for both games have been shut down, so you'll have to play single player with shitty AI use Yoko!.

If you like the old school RE games, then definitely pick them both up.  Also, they add slightly to the story of RE2.

I have REbirth but should get the old ones on the GC ports (unless they do a download package for the PS3 containing Nemesis and RE2?) and REZero. Is Code Veronica any good?

What is REbirth?  Yes, Code Veronica is one of the best of the series with the old style gameplay; it's also a crucial component of the main story, as it centers around Chris/Wesker/Claire.  I would say you can hold off on the Outbreak series and pick up CV in the meanwhile.  Have you played 0 as well?

REbirth - 1st remake (my favourite) on GC. No I haven't played Zero, but it doesn't really appeal to me - apparently it's really easy. I'll look up CV and hope that it works on my PS3.

If you've got a 1st generation PS3 with the emotion engine chip (PS2 chip) in it, you should be able to play it - also, it's called "Code Veronica X" now - they added some new content to it.  0 is still fun to play...you have to control two characters and manage their inventories/actions, similar to how you did in 5.

Code Veronica X was one of my favorite RE games.

If you've got a Wii, The Umbrella Chronicles is a must.

Agreed, Teck - that is another recommendation for you Subb...Umbrella Chronicles presents a wealth of information specifically pertaining to Wesker (you play as him in numerous scenarios) beginning back at the Spencer Estate from the first game.  It also contains a new scenario with the BSAA in 2002.  Keep in mind, though - it's an "on-rails" shooter.

By the way - rolling your own cigarettes is totally worth the hassle once you get good at it and adjust to the flavor of the tobacco.

Or you could just quit.  I smoked for about 16 years off and on.  Quitting was hard but so worth it.  I feel better and have extra money.  A lot of extra money.

My medical opinion is (I fucking love saying that *smug smile*) it all depends on how much you smoke - I know people who smoke about two a day and have had scans and their lungs are fine. Although, if you're a heavy smoker I urge you to cut down - it's fucking nasty stuff...

Can't say I'm an angel (ba-dum-BISH!); I've had smokes and cigars (much prefer the latter) but I don't get hooked to nicotine so I can just smoke one or two and then stop for a few months.

That's what they all say! =P

I smoked as a teen, basicly until I met my wife. I wish I hadn't. I'll still have a cigar once in a while, but who can pass those up?

Anybody watch the finale of Battlestar Galactica?

All I can say is - WTF?! Too many things didn't make sense at all...
