Well Dragon will work but you'll have to train the program to learn your voice for several hours to get any kind of accuracy out of it.  Its really a pain in the ass.  You also have to train yourself in all the commands to use even more of a pain.  Other than that it works pretty good.  I actually had version 7.

Manic got a pirated copy of the Spore Creature Creator demo.  Two days before release.

There are a lot of pieces missing.  But even with 25% of the tools, I was able to make about 45 completely different creatures.  I'm going to buy the $10 full version on Tuesday.  

I actually tried making the FA symbol, but to no avail.  Humans are hard to accurately build, too.  I did manage to make a warped version of Grimmace (of Ronald McDonald fame), and some kind of gargantuan canary with one webbed foot.
