So I accidentally destroyed my Sony MDR-V700 headphones a couple days ago and I was looking at models ranging from mid (similar to what I have now) to high end (like the Seinheiser HD650 or Grado RS1).

Then I remembered the first pair of headphones I ever bought that made me have ear orgasms. The Panasonic RP-HT970 "brain shaker" headphones. I'm going to buy the lone used pair off of Amazon because they're cheap and hopefully will be as good as I remember them. It's a shame Panasonic or any other manufacturer didn't keep developing the VMSS technology. I guess it just wasn't a success, but as I recall from several prominent game reviewers and whatnot, these "are THE perfect gaming headphones" (a counter-strike related review).

Anyhoo, if you ever come across a pair of these, try em out ^_^
