Had a crisis of faith today.  I was in the shops and saw a dude wearing a battered leather duster and sungless (indoors) asking his friends (in backup outfits) if something was "Matrixy".  For the record, he did not look uber-sexy as Manic does when he dresses up, he was just skanky.

Should I have punched him or applauded his balls?

Why, why Destyn, would you compare me to such a person?  I thought we were friends.  :(

You should have at least chuckled in his direction.  There's nothing wrong with being a Matrix geek, but for god's sake don't flaunt it.  I have an image in my head of this guy and his friends hanging out at phone booths all night, and answering their cell phones with "Operator..."

I could understand if it was a stunt, or some kind of on-the-spot improv act, but were they being serious about it?

Yeah I think they were.  Perhaps they had dressed up for a school disco or something, but on the way out I heard them talking about phones and I was tempted even more so to punch them.

For the record though Manic you still > most guys ;)
