btw.. have they even considered that when the lake runs dry and the river is significantly lowered that the mussels will die anyway... wtf

mine came from the fact that Lake Lanier (georgia) is being drained even when there is a major drought going on so that the river stays full so as not to kill the endangered mussels in Florida... but once the lake runs out that is serious lack of water, the dam can't make more electricity for power because of no water.. and the damn mussels die anyways!!! stupid ACOE (army corps of engineers.
