I suggest purchasing it. Half-Life 2 is quite possibly one of the best games I have ever played.  Half-Life 2: Episodes 1 and 2 are part of a trilogy.  The trilogy is supposed to be Half-Life 3, or that's what I read.  Team Fortress 2 is the sequel to an old multiplayer classic.  I have yet to finish downloading it from Steam, so I haven't got a chance to play it yet.

I'm gonna wait until the price of EP2 comes down, I did the same with EP1 and picked up up 10-15 bucks cheaper. Besides I don't have a super great computer to play it on, my XPS M1210 does well but if I build a mid -range system it's be more sweet on that!

Great. Now I can't get into my CS3.

I've tried uninstalling, using CS3Sweep, deleting application.sif, renaming that file, turning the clock back, everything.

Just beat Portal... The song played during the credits is hilarious!  Probably only funny if you've played the game though.  I was laughing out loud.

EDIT: Oh, and it's a damn awesome game.  At first, I was going through and was like, "Man, this is lame."  But then you get towards the end, and it gets awesome.  Definitely on the "Tecknik Recommends:" list.

I haven't gotten to play it yet.  I didn't want to download everything at one time, because that would take far too long.  So I have been downloading them one at a time.  TF2 is downloading right now.

Interesting fact I just learned about Portal, the main character is modeled after Alesia Glidewell.  She is the same person who did the motion capture work for all the female characters of The Matrix Online.  Her resume (http://www.ryanartists.com/resumes/alesia_glidewell_resume.jpg) says she also did voice-overs for the "Oracle, Sati, all female guards, lupines, and vampires."

Okay, played Team Fortress 2.... Amazing.  Most fun I've had playing a multiplayer game in a long time.  Even when I was dying, I was still enjoying the game.  I was owning it up as a Sniper.
