This is the exact same crap he's been pulling with his "Week In Review" bullshit.  "I'm hoping we can that we can share more information regarding other things going on."  The fuck does that mean?  He hopes he can share information?  Either he can or he can't, there's no grey area.

He's still dodging the issue.  My guess is he's being transferred to another project.  I can only hope that Rarebit is appointed in his place because he's the only guy left on that team that has any idea at all of what the game is about, and what it means to the community.

I was a little miffed when I first read that, too, Manic. However, SOE's policy on staffing is a no-no when it comes to telling us. Remember, we never found out about HCFrog. We surmised it ourselves. We didn't officially find out about Walrus being Producer and CRM for quite a while.

I told him that I'd give him a week and a half to divulge some information about what the fuck is going on (that gives him two Fridays). If he does not post anything, I will post the contents of the PM's for the Matrix forums to contemplate.

Also, I've lined Mave up to go to the LA Meet and Greet. I'm sure that he'll be able to get some answers from at lease one of the CRM's, if not Raijinn himself. I will tell him to get answers to specific questions (it happens the 18th, a week from today). If nothing is posted on that Friday, then I will post all of the answers to the questions that Mave asked.

If nothing also comes up by the end of next week, I'm going to create a signature that everyone on the Forums can use.

I'm not giving up in any way... I'm just taking a break so Raijinn can possibly post some stuff. If he doesn't, I'll be even more snarky.

Be aware that they can probably take disciplinary action against your account for that.  I don't think Raijinn is stupid enough, although I personally think he does have his head way up his ass, to think that conversations in PM's actually stay private.  But I doubt he'd appreciate the contents of his PM's being displayed publicly.  

Frankly, I don't think he deserves anymore leway.  He's had nearly two months to type up three to four paragraphs of development news.  If he doesn't want to do his job, or he can't do it for whatever reason, then they need to find someone who will.  Rarebit has been the most consistent player on the team since Walrus left.  My opinion of the guy is touch and go, but for christ's sake, at least he puts in a minimum of effort.  Raijinn can't even do that anymore.

I swear, that guy must have the easiest job in the world.  He has nothing to do with the game's actual development.  Rarebit and 9mmfu handle all of that.  He has nothing to do with the storyline or live events.  Rarebit and Chadwick handle that.  He has nothing to do with enforcing the games terms of use.  Brewko and the CSRs handle that.  He has nothing to do with managing the website.  Rarebit and the web team handle that.  He has nothing to do with managing the forums (save for that god awful "Announcements" block).  Rarebit, the web team and the mods handle that.

All Raijinn has to do is occasionally talk with the people from Massive to ensure we get more in-game ads, make a new thread in the forums every time a server needs restarting, make a new thread in the forums whenever SOE wants to pat themselves on the back, and copy-pasting patch notes that he gets from Rarebit every six weeks.

Ugh.  I'm just venting here because I don't want to do it on DN1.  If I'm going to be an angry douche, I'd rather it be semi-privately.

Well, if he does ban me from the forums for posting it, then I'm sure the people on the boards will (hopefully) get more pissed off.

I'm more than willing to sacrifice my forum rights for two weeks to get some shit done.
