C'mon man, you're not even trying anymore!

Let's see... one gadget she's having installed in this cabin is heated floors and a heated driveway, so she never has to shovel snow.  This wouldn't be such a big deal if the whole cabin weren't computerized and connected to its own phone line.  But we all know that mountain retreats which aren't computerized are soooo sub-par.  :p

So she can be out in the city and decide she wants to visit the cabin.  But it just snowed the night before, and the place is probably frozen over.  All she has to do is pick up her cell and dial a number.  She inputs a certain code, and the heater at the cabin clicks on.  In the hour and a half it takes her to drive from the city to the cabin, the driveway will be clear of snow and ice, and the cabin itself will be toasty warm.

I had that kind of setup when I used to live in an apartment.  I think it was called "Home Automated Living" (HAL for short)  I was able to have my living room lights on and the TV running just by phoning home.

And here I am scrounging the parking lot for enough change buy RAMEN so I can eat that DAY.
