Star Wars Family Guy was pretty good; new season of Metalocalypse wasn't bad either.

From what I've noticed so far, I'm the only person on the planet who didn't absolutely love it.  I thought it was filled with a lot of cheap-and-easy jokes.  It's the first Family Guy episode that I rolled my eyes at.

I thought the final 30 seconds of the episode was the only redeeming moment.  The exchange between Peter and Chris was hilarious, and doubled by the fact that not everyone got the joke.  I wouldn't be surprised at all if Seth McFarlane and Seth Green had a bet going to see which Star Wars episode on their respective shows could pull the most viewers.

Maybe I just have unreasonably high standards for comedy.  Which is odd, because I grew up on The Three Stooges.  :p

I disagree I'm afraid Manic, I think this was the best FG ever.  They took the story, stayed loyal to it, and gave it a good Family Guy twist.  R2D2 when he pulls that gun on the Tie Fighter... the Canadian Stormtrooper... Luke's rescue of Leia... classic stuff.

I'll give you the Canadian Stormtrooper.  That was the lol's.  I still can't imitate that accent without cracking up.

But the R2D2 Cleveland with the gun and the bag of weed (he's black, we get it), C3PO Quagmire having sex with an old Dot Matrix (I've always thought Quagmire was too over the top), Leia's labored encoding of the "Help me Obi Wan" recording, Han Solo griping about the Imperial fighter flying while talking on his cell phone.  All really easy jokes.

I was going to complain about Chewbacca's "Always gargle before takeoff" comment as pretty low-brow humor, but the "Wakka wakka" right after it completely saved it.  I was pleased.

It had some good points.  Star Wars + Family Guy definitely = good times.  There were just moments when I felt the writers could have tried a bit harder.

I'm pretty sure that I have pink eye. I'm really pissed off right now. I hate missing school and making up quizzes and tests and homework.

Oh. And Homecoming is this weekend. I will be pissed if I can't go. Really pissed.

...And we will strike down upon those of Darkness, with great vengeance and Furious Anger, those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.

Pink Eye is basically an eye irratation that causes your eyes to be Red or sometimes a pink color.  Naturally your eye or eyes itch very bad and you want to rub them every chance you get.  Its highly contagious so if you touch someone after rubbing your eyes they could easily get it as well.  Its a very common illness.  Normally caused by allergies or bacteria of some sort.  So my comment of touching a door knob was mearly me trying to get others infected.. I'm such a wonderful person huh? lol
