Nothign wrong with some planes. =)
Here are a couple videos. The first was taken with a real digital camera of a little move the Blue Angels did, but my favorite vid was taken on my phone of Fat Albert (the Blue Angels C-130 transport) demonstrating a JATO takeoff. JATO=Jet Assisted TakeOff. 8 solid rocket motors strapped to a large cargo plane makes it go 45 degrees into the air pretty damn qickly.

Rockford, IL airshow.
The next one I'm looking forward to is the Peoria one - that's about a 45 minute drive for me. http://www.prairieair.org/
So far I just know they're having the F-16 east demo team, a super hornet demo (worth the drive and entry admission alone), Mig-17 demo, and a P-51 there as well. Plus all the general time fillers they always have (golden knights, Angel 7, Jet Truck/Outhouse) Last year they had a B-2 do a bunch of fly-bys, two F-117's do a few flybys (2 of them at a show=rare) and a great A-10 demo.

What calendar are you looking at? hehe, JULY, not JUNE 20-22. Friday through Sunday.
