The third is not too much better than the second, the second rocked to ya, it did well. We get lots of information, and BIG Cliff hanger with D Jones.

I do like how it all tied together, but I was expecting a bit more.

None the less, great movie. I would still go see it again.

Pirates of the Caribeean: AWE was far better than Spiderman 3.  AWE was by far my favorite movie of the series.  I was it Thursday night in a digital theatre.  WOW!  I'm gonna have to go see it a couple more times.

Box office numbers only tell you the amount of money going into the pockets of the movie makers, not how good the movie actually was.  I dare say that it'll end up making more money in the long run.
