On the left side of the page under //Menu, there's a link that says ./roster. You can click on a few fields by your name and edit them.

Ok, so being undecided on my class, I wanted to get a feel for the balance so far in the group on all the different classes everyone has said they want in the roster. I shared with likwidtek and he said it was some good info and that others might be interested so here it is:

Smugglers 13
Gunslingers: 6
Scoundrels: 5
Undecided Adv Class: 2

Knights 25
Guardians: 12
Sentinels: 6
Undecided Adv Class: 7

Consular 22
Sage: 9
Shadow: 2
Undecided Adv Class: 11

Trooper 12
Commando: 6
Vanguard: 3
Undecided Adv Class: 3

I then broke it down as best i could into the roles of healer, tank, ranged dps (RDPS), and melee dps (MDPS).  Because of all the undecided adv class there are a lot of missing pieces but I then figured out the number of potential people that could fit into a role depending on their class.

healers: 14
tanks: 18
RDPS: 12 plus 5 burst RDPS
MDPS: 6 plus 2 burst DPS
Undecided: 23

but in terms of potential, depending on what advanced class they picked I got

10 potential tanks
13 potential MDPS
13 potential healers
12 potential RDPS

Then I decided to get an idea of how each order was adding up, with of course focus on Velox.

Ad Astra- mixed class
Aequitas- all Jedis
Emeritus- all Jedis
Libertas- mix of Jedi and Troopers
Praelium- mix of Jedis and Smugglers
Veritas- mixed

Velox- 1 smuggler scoundrel, 1 smuggler gunslinger, 1 undecided trooper, 1 trooper commando, 1 trooper vanguard, 1 undecided knight, 2 consular sages, and 1 consular undecided

Anyway, I am using this info to help me better plan to find a class I like yet at the same time make sure I can help balance things out.  Hopefully others will find the info useful.

I think you may have forgotten to add commandos to the potential healer number.

You are right, I didn't! I didn't see anything that indicated that they have the potential to act as healers too. Where did you find that info?

Commando has a combat medic tree. Devs confirmed it a while ago at PAXeast.

The statistics they have on the side are way off. The Empire definitely outnumbers the Republic (in guilds it is roughly a 2:1 ratio)

That's what some people are complaining about.  Not sure where they are getting their data.  That said, the rest is super good info.
