From the literature that LucasArts and Bioware give it seems that KOTOR 1 & 2 should be played if possible before SWTOR comes out. This seems especially important because of the lack of material I've found around that time period. I guess Lucas has been giving Bioware more leeway when it comes to Expanded Universe to mess with since they did such a good job with the KOTORs.

Yeah, I'm still playing through KOTOR 1 again, but I've gotten distracted. I hope to finish them both before getting my hands on SWTOR.

I take it you're going the good route in preparation? I haven't heard which one they're going to be taking, given that they have such different endings depending on what path you take.

You mean canon wise? They're using the good side ending for both games and that Revan was male (and had offspring with Bastila - hence Satele Shan) and the Exile was female as far as I know since Lucas has deemed it canon.

Hmm... and the companions/the other characters? Do you know who's live and who's dead? I'm hoping for HK-47....meatbag.

It's 300 years on from KOTOR so I guess that everyone's dead (but that doesn't mean that their descendants aren't around). I'd love for HK-47 to return; he should since he's in SWG.

Quite true, but I have a feeling they are staying away from SWG. Too much insta-vader-death for my liking.

From what I have heard they haven't confirmed him or denied him. Though I wouldn't doubt him being in it.

they confired him alrdy. have you not watched the Revan's Tomb trailer? hes either gonna end up as an NPC, Single-player companion, or a Boss.
